Nanning-Yulin Section of Nanning-Zhuhai High Speed Railway Opens on December 30, 2024: Over 80 Patents and Next-Generation Information Technologies Integrated into High Speed Rail Construction
The Nanning-Yulin section of the Nanning-Zhuhai High Speed Railway will officially open for operation on December 30, 2024. Throughout its design and construction, significant efforts were made to deeply integrate next-generation information technologies with high speed rail development. According to incomplete statistics, over 80 patents for inventions were obtained during the construction of the Nanning-Yulin section. Yulinbei Railway Station is the largest newly built station along this section of the railway, featuring solar photovoltaic panels installed on its metal roof, covering an area of 7,470 square meters. The entire Nanning-Yulin section is equipped with unmanned substations, and the Nanning Dispatch Center, located over a hundred kilometers away, can remotely control the substations using advanced automated telemetries, signaling, control, adjustments and remote operations.
